We’re thrilled to introduce our two new Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol Ambassadors, who are passionate about promoting the Welsh language and highlighting its importance in the workplace and beyond.

"I am working for ‘Accomplish’ in Cardiff which provides supported Living for our service users.
I have completed some elements of my apprenticeship through the medium of Welsh.
I believe Welsh is a big advantage to me in work because I’m able to speak with service users in either language.
I am hoping my Welsh language skills will benefit me in my future employment."

"I work at Cylch Meithrin Waunceirch Day Nursery.
Being able to speak Welsh is a huge advantage at work and I use my bilingual skills every day with children and parents.
I am very proud to be able to speak Welsh and I hope these skills will benefit me in my future job."
The Welsh language is a treasure that belongs to everyone in Wales—whether you’re fluent or just beginning your journey. Speaking both Welsh and English not only connects you to two vibrant cultures but also unlocks exciting career opportunities, enhances social connections, and strengthens communities.
Our ambassadors are here to inspire and encourage others to maintain and improve their Welsh skills. Whether you’re using the language in the workplace or completing some or all of your apprenticeship through the medium of Welsh, it has a valuable place.
Through their stories and insights, they’ll showcase how embracing the Welsh language can create new possibilities, celebrate our shared heritage, and highlight the benefits of bilingualism in both personal and professional life.
